Help us congratulate Conway Corp Wastewater Plant Superintendent Kody Miller who recently earned his Class IV Wastewater Treatment certification from the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality.
This is the top level of achievement for licensed water plant operators in the state.
The requirements for Class IV Wastewater Treatment certification include 96 hours of classroom training and passing the examination.
“Kody was first hired at Conway Corp as an operator and has gained a lot of knowledge on plant operation and the function of wastewater treatment,” Conway Corp Water Systems Manager Lee Tedford said. “After his promotion to plant maintenance worker, he obtained a deep knowledge of how to maintain each piece of equipment that makes up the treatment process. He is a great asset, leading the plant operators in day-to-day operations. I look forward to watching him grow. I know he will make sure the plant treats and produces the best effluent water.”
Kody started his career at Conway Corp in April 2018 as a wastewater plant operator apprentice. He was promoted to plant maintenance worker in November 2018 and was promoted to chief plant operator in December 2023. He was promoted to his current position in August 2024.
