Setting Up Email for 2010 Outlook
- Open Outlook 2010
- Click File
- Make sure Info is highlighted at the top and click Add Account.
- When the Add New Account window opens click Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
- Click Next
- Choose Internet E-mail
- Click Next
- Under User Information fill in your name and Conway Corporation email address.
- Under Server Information fill in the following information:
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server: mail.conwaycorp.net
- Outgoing mail server: mail.conwaycorp.net
- Under Logon Information enter your entire Conway Corporation email address in the User Name field and enter your password.
- Click More Settings to the right
- Click the Outgoing Server tab
- Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and the option Use same settings as my incoming mail server will automatically be chosen.
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Under Server Port Numbers below Incoming server (IMAP) type 993 and from the drop down the box next to Use the following type of encrypted connection choose SSL.
- Under Outgoing server (SMTP) change the port number to 587 and from the drop down the box next to Use the following type of encrypted connection choose TLS.
- Click OK
- Click Next
- Click Finish
