This year’s campaign theme encourages everyone to “Build a Cyber-Strong America,” focusing on the everyday actions that keep our systems and data safe. CISA’s resources empower organizations to promote security awareness, while partners like KnowBe4 emphasize turning awareness into action through engaging and practical training.
What you can do – Four simple actions
- Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – Add that second layer of protection whenever you log in, both at work and at home.
- Use strong, unique passwords – Avoid reusing passwords and consider using a password manager to help you stay secure.
- Think before you click – Phishing emails remain one of the biggest threats. Pause before clicking links or downloading attachments and verify the sender.
- Keep devices and software updated – Whether it’s your phone, laptop or work system, regularly updating devices keeps threats out.
