Conway Corp has received a MIDI Award from the Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association (MACTA) for its original community programming series, “Meet The Conwegians.” The series was honored in the Community Programming – Operator with Less than 50,000 Subscribers category, recognizing Conway Corp’s commitment to telling local stories and spotlighting the people who make Conway unique.
“Meet The Conwegians” is produced by Conway Corp Production Coordinator Javan Massey in partnership with local artist Faye Hedera. Each episode features profiles of Conway residents, local leaders and community partners. Through interviews, storytelling and local footage, the series gives viewers a deeper connection to their neighbors and the place they call home.
“Community storytelling is at the heart of what we do with Conway Corp’s local programming,” Conway Corp Video Production and Local Programming Manager Jeff Matthews said. “With ‘Meet The Conwegians,’ Javan and Faye have created a series that celebrates the people of Conway in a way that is authentic, creative and visually engaging.”
The MIDI Awards were created by MACTA to recognize outstanding advertising, marketing and promotional work in the telecommunications industry. Categories include community programming, advertising, social media and brand campaigns, with entries evaluated on creativity, effectiveness and production quality.
The Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association, founded in 1958, is an industry association formed to help telecommunications providers promote technical excellence, superior customer service, exemplary marketing and student scholarship. The association includes cable telecommunications system operators in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.
