Chase Weatherley was promoted to Plant Operator at the Tupelo Bayou Wastewater Treatment Plant following the successful completion of his three-year apprenticeship.
During his apprenticeship, he completed extensive hands-on training and earned multiple state certifications that demonstrate his growing expertise in wastewater operations.
As part of his professional development, Chase also earned his Boiler Operator License from the Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing. To obtain the license, he completed six months of hands-on training under a licensed boiler operator and passed the required state exam, confirming his knowledge of safe and efficient boiler operation.
“Chase’s completion of his apprenticeship and Boiler Operator License demonstrates the knowledge and skills he has developed to operate this equipment safely and effectively,” Conway Corp Wastewater Plant Superintendent Kody Miller said. “We are proud of the way he is growing and proud to have him as part of our team.”
In addition to his boiler license, Chase earned his Class I Wastewater Treatment certification from the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality last year, further strengthening the plant’s operational capabilities.
Chase began his career with Conway Corp in October 2022 as a plant operator apprentice.
Congratulations, Chase!
