Help us congratulate Connor Frost on being promoted to Apprentice Lineman 1 in the Electric Department.
Connor is participating in a four-year apprenticeship program through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance to become a journeyman lineman. The program includes classroom instruction, correspondence coursework and extensive hands-on training.
Apprentices must also complete monthly and annual exams and attend immersive skills workshops, such as pole climbing, pole top rescue and bucket truck training at the National Utility Industry Training Fund facilities in Kansas City.
“Connor has been a hard worker since the day he got here,” Electric Distribution System Senior Foreman Scott Ussery said. “He’s shown he has what it takes to begin our apprentice program. He’s smart and efficient. We’re looking forward to seeing him excel in his career at Conway Corp.”
Connor began his career with Conway Corp as a groundman in June 2023.
