Help us congratulate Dylan Hopper on his promotion to Apprentice Lineman 1 in the electric department!
Dylan is enrolled in a four-year apprentice program to become a journeyman lineman through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance. The program requires classroom, correspondence and hands-on training with monthly and annual exams on electric curriculum. He must attend hands-on immersion skills training workshops including pole climbing, pole top rescue and bucket truck training at the National Utility Industry Training Fund facilities in Kansas City.
“Dylan is dependable, and you can always count on him to work,” Conway Corp Electric Distribution System Senior Foreman Mark Rowlett said. “We’re proud of all his hard work and we look forward to adding him to our journeyman pool.”
Dylan was hired as a groundman in April 2022.
