Conway Corp recently announced the promotion of Ivan Robinson to Apprentice Lineman 3 in the electric department.
Ivan is enrolled in a four-year apprentice program to become a journeyman lineman through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance. The program requires classroom, correspondence and hands-on training with monthly and annual exams on electric curriculum. He must attend hands-on immersion skills training workshops including pole climbing, pole top rescue and bucket truck training at the National Utility Industry Training Fund facilities in Kansas City.
“Ivan is a dedicated and reliable worker who consistently gives his best effort,” Conway Corp Electric Distribution System Senior Foreman Mark Rowlett said. “We’re proud of his hard work and look forward to watching him continue to grow.”
Ivan was hired as a groundman in June 2020.
