Conway Corp is proud to announce the promotion of Nick Benedict to Telecom Construction Technician 1 in the Cable Telecommunication Systems Department. Benedict recently completed the Coaxial Construction and Optical Fiber Construction training programs through the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE).
While these courses do not offer certifications and his current role will remain the same, the training marks an important step in his professional development.
“Nick’s dedication to learning and improvement is truly commendable,” Conway Corp Telecom Construction Senior Foreman Ben Lawrence said. “I look forward to watching him continue to grow and advance in his career.”
Nick began his career at Conway Corp in August 2024 as a Telecom Construction Technician Trainee.
SCTE is a non-profit professional association focused on advancing technology, standards and workforce education in the cable telecommunications industry. While SCTE certifications require rigorous testing and ongoing professional development, additional training programs like those completed by Benedict provide valuable skills to support career growth.
