Scotty Hudgens was promoted to Telecom Installer Technician 2 in the cable telecommunication systems department after successfully completing the Broadband Fiber Installer Certification through the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE).
The Broadband Fiber Installer (BFI) certification builds on the knowledge gained from the Broadband Premises Installer (BPI) and Broadband Premises Technician (BPT) certifications and sets the industry benchmark for expertise in the installation and maintenance of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) systems. Designed to meet the demands of modern broadband networks, the certification validates a technician’s ability to plan, deploy, verify and troubleshoot fiber optic systems to ensure reliable service delivery.
This certification reflects Scotty’s commitment to professional growth and technical excellence in the telecommunications field. His promotion recognizes both his dedication to expanding his skillset and his contributions to providing high-quality service to Conway Corp customers.

Scotty began his career at Conway Corp in March 2023 as a telecom installer trainee. He was promoted to telecom installer technician 1 in March 2024 and telecom installer technician 2 in March 2025.
