We would like to congratulate four Conway High School seniors as they were awarded $500 scholarships for their exceptional academic and athletic abilities!
These scholarships, aimed at recognizing academic excellence and community involvement, are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to invest in the future leaders of our community.
The recipients of the 2024 Wampus Cat Scholarships are:
Audrey Cowger won the Top GPA Female Athlete Award. She was a member of the varsity dance team, National Honor Society and served as the assistant secretary of Delta Beta Sigma junior sorority. She plans to attend UCA in the fall, majoring in Biology on a pre-med track.
Ethan Barrett won the Top GPA Male Athlete Award. He was a member of the soccer team and plans to attend the University of Arkansas in the fall, majoring in Biochemistry.
Lillian King won the Ruth Doyle Outstanding Female Athlete Award. She was a member of both cross country and the track team, making the all-conference team all four years, as well as the all-academic team for soccer. She plans to attend Hendrix College, playing soccer and track in the fall.
Donovyn Omolo won the Top Male Athlete / Frank Robins Award. He was the Wampus Cats quarterback responsible for more than 9,670 yards of offense and 121 touchdowns in his high school career. He was also named the 2023 Faulkner County Player of the Year. He plans to attend University of Central Missouri to play football in the fall.

We are truly blessed with an outstanding educational system; it makes our community better. These students have demonstrated remarkable dedication to their studies and a commitment to giving back to their community. We are proud to support them as they take the next step in their academic journeys.”
The selection process for the scholarships involved a thorough review of academic records, athletic achievement and personal essays. The students chosen exemplify the values of hard work, perseverance and community spirit that Conway Corp strives to promote.
Conway Corp has been providing scholarships to Wampus Cat senior student-athletes since 2001 and has awarded more than $46,000.
