Conway Corp Water Department employees Howard Hamlett and Zachary Stubbs recently completed the Pipeline Assessment Certification, Manhole Assessment Certification and Lateral Assessment Certification programs from the National Association of Sewer Service Companies.
The programs are an international standard used for assessment of pipelines, manholes and laterals.
Howard and Zachary have expanded their knowledge of inspection protocols and the established defect coding system.
“These certification programs are an international standard that has been used for many years,” Water Systems Manager Lee Tedford said. “We required this knowledge for the individuals who operate our camera truck and I’m proud of the effort of both Howard and Zachary to complete this important work for the community.”
Howard was hired as a utility worker apprentice and promoted to water systems foreman in 2005. He will celebrate 25 years with Conway Corp this summer.
Zachary was hired as a utility worker apprentice and promoted to utility worker in 2009. He will celebrate 14 years with the company later this year.
