Help us congratulate Plant Operator Lance Harwell on recently earning his Class IV Wastewater Treatment certification from the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, the top level of achievement for licensed wastewater plant operators in the state.
The requirements for Class IV Wastewater Treatment certification include 200 hours of classroom training and passing the examination.
“Lance is a great asset to the Wastewater Treatment Plant bringing a vast amount of knowledge in wastewater treatment,” Water Systems Manager Lee Tedford said. “He worked really hard in passing the Class IV exam and I am very proud of his accomplishment. This license is the highest achievement in our field, and I look forward to watching Lance continue to grow.”
Harwell began his career with Conway Corp in July 2006 as an operator apprentice and was promoted to his current role in July 2009.
