Cablefax Magazine’s annual THE FAXIES edition recognizes excellence in public relations and marketing across the industry. The magazine recognizes winners in several categories.
In 2023, the Conway Corp marketing team spearheaded and launched a newly designed website. The new website has received positive feedback on its ease of use from customers, employees and partners. The team also received awards and recognition from the American Public Power Association, Mid-America Cable and Telecommunications Association and National Content & Technology Cooperative for brand and product marketing campaigns. In addition, they led the campaign to transition legacy video customers to IPTV products — including email, direct-mail, customer service tools, digital and social campaign. This project will wrap up in 2024.They also conducted an internal communications survey and implemented communications strategy based on results.
The team was commended for consistently developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns that captured the attention of the company’s target audience. From social media initiatives to interactive digital experiences, they leveraged various platforms to effectively communicate the brand message.
Beyond traditional marketing efforts, the Conway Corp marketing team actively engaged with the local community through events, sponsorships and partnerships. Their commitment to fostering meaningful connections with residents has strengthened their brand presence and reputation.
Despite facing unprecedented challenges, they demonstrated remarkable adaptability and resilience. During the pandemic, the team consisted of two people: Marketing Manager Beth McCullough Jimmerson and Project Coordinator and Events Specialist Margaret Smith. The two quickly pivoted their strategies in response to changing market dynamics, ensuring continued success in reaching new objectives. In 2023, Yaunica Peten was added to the team as the communications coordinator focused on both internal and external messaging as well strategic storytelling. The final piece was added to the team earlier this year in Bradley Thompson, the marketing coordinator and graphic designer responsible for creative content development.
