If you’re traveling through downtown Conway in the coming weeks, you’ll want to plan for a temporary closure along Oak Street.
Conway Corp has hired crews to complete utility infrastructure work along Oak Street, requiring a full street closure from Locust Avenue to Front Street beginning Monday, Sept. 28.
The closure will remain in place weekdays and weekends and is expected to last at least two weeks.
What Drivers Need to Know
During construction, drivers should expect changing traffic patterns throughout the downtown area. Please follow all posted signs and detours and allow additional time when traveling near the work zone.
Motorists and pedestrians should also use caution around the construction area and remain mindful of crews working along the roadway.
