Wastewater rates are calculated according to monthly water consumption, except for the months of May, June, July, August, September and October. For those months an average monthly water consumption will be figured based on the customer’s average monthly consumption during the preceding months of November, December, January, February and March. In the case of new customers, for who consumption records for the months involved are not available, consumption will be calculated on a fair basis taking into consideration such records as are available. Rates will be billed by billing date, not usage month.

All rates posted are representations of the approved rates. Any discrepancy between those posted on the website and actual approved rate documents will be resolved in favor of the approved rate documents. Customers outside of the city limits are billed at 1.5 times the inside city rate.

The Arkansas Department of Health has certified that Conway Water System (PWS 189) has completed a comprehensive inventory of all service lines within the water system as required by the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR). After analysis of the water system and reviewing all obtainable records, no lead service lines, galvanized requiring replacement lines, or unknown materials were found. All service lines are therefore classified as non-lead.
