Plant Maintenance Worker Sam Phifer recently earned his Class IV Wastewater Treatment certification from the Arkansas Department of Health.
The requirements for Class IV Wastewater Treatment certification include 96 hours of classroom training and passing the examination. It is the top level of achievement for licensed plant operators in the state.
“Sam has worked so hard to obtain this certification,” Conway Corp Water Systems Manager Lee Tedford said. “We are very proud of him. We look forward to watching him grow.”
Sam was hired as a plant operator apprentice in June 2020. He was promoted to his current role in October 2022.
