Bret began his career at Conway Corp in 1998 as the chief financial officer and was promoted to CEO in 2017. He also serves on several boards, including as treasurer of the American Public Power Association Board, vice president of finance for the Arkansas Municipal Power Association, chair of the UCA Foundation Board and as a member of the boards of directors for the Conway Development Corporation, Arkansas 811 and the Conway Regional Medical Center Foundation Board.
He is a past treasurer of the Mid-America Cable Television Association.
