Conway Corp recently presented four Conway High School seniors with $500 scholarships for their exceptional academic and athletic achievements. These scholarships, aimed at recognizing excellence in academics and athletics, are part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and the future leaders of our community.
The recipients of the 2025 Wampus Cat Scholarships are:
- Ellen Kendrick – Female Athlete with the Highest GPA (Dance)
- Caiden Rudd – Male Athlete with the Highest GPA (Tennis)
- Madden Cabantac – Ruth Doyle Outstanding Female Athlete Award (Volleyball and Swimming)
- Trez Hammond – Frank Robbins Outstanding Male Athlete Award (Football and Track & Field)
“In 1929, Conway Corp was incorporated, in part, to support education and educational institutions in our community,” CEO Bret Carroll said. “Educating our youth is one of the most important things we can support in Conway. We are truly blessed with an outstanding educational system; it makes our community better. These students have demonstrated remarkable dedication to their studies and a commitment to giving back to their community. We are proud to support them as they take the next step in their academic journeys.”
The selection process for the scholarships involved a thorough review of academic records, athletic achievements and personal essays. The students chosen exemplify the values of hard work, perseverance and community spirit that Conway Corp strives to promote.
Conway Corp has been providing scholarships to Wampus Cat senior student-athletes since 2001 and has awarded more than $48,000 in total.
