Help us congratulate Mark Ferguson, Chad Hogan and Lee Tedford who were recently named Blue Ribbon Workforce Heroes by the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce.
The award honors individuals and companies located in Faulkner County who have made an impact on their company and community and shows potential to be industry leader within the next decade.
“Chad, Lee and Mark are the epitome of excellence,” Chief Operating Officer Brett McDaniel said. “They stand out in serving our customers and our community with excellence. They consistently work to ensure utility reliability and safety while planning for the future of our community.”
In the newest issue of the Pulse of Conway, the editors recognized Ferguson, Hogan and Tedford for their impact on Conway Corp.
Mark serves as the water systems senior engineer. His responsibilities include supporting long-range planning, system improvements and overseeing developer and rehabilitation projects. His dedication has been instrumental in driving key projects that impact economic development, long-term water supply and the modernization of aging infrastructure, all of which are essential to Conway’s future success. He finds fulfillment in his role, notably in helping Conway remain successful and sustainable. He began his career with Conway Corp in 2010.
Chad serves as a senior foreman of water systems, leading a team of 12 men across four crews. Hogan and his team maintain and repair critical infrastructure, including 11 miles of lake line, 443 miles of water distribution mains, 322 miles of sewer distribution mains, and 19 miles of force mains. His leadership ensures the smooth operation of Conway’s essential water systems, working tirelessly to repair and replace aging infrastructure, which often includes responding to emergencies day or night. He began his career at Conway Corp in 2000.
Lee is responsible for protecting Faulkner County’s water source at Brewer Lake, water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment in his role as water systems manager. Tedford and his team repair water main breaks and restore service to residents. He is committed to providing safe, reliable water and wastewater utilities to the citizens of Conway. Tedford began his career with Conway Corp in 2010.
The trio was honored at the American Safeguard Insurance Blue Ribbon Workforce Awards presented by First Arkansas Bank & Trust earlier this month.
