Conway Corp’s Marketing/Communications Department was recently recognized with two awards by the American Public Power Association during their Excellence in Public Power Communications Awards ceremony.
Conway Corp received the Award of Excellence in the print/digital category for its’ 2020 Annual Report titled “Powering Through Together”. The report, with production led by Marketing/Communications Manager, Beth Jimmerson, was designed to demonstrate the ways Conway Corp took care of the community during the challenges of 2020.
The video category saw the company honored with the Award for Merit for its “Always On” video series. The three-video series highlights the company’s commitment to serving Conway and being Always On, which was more important than ever in 2020. Conway Corp marketing staff worked with advertising agency Eric, Rob and Isaac to produce the campaign.
The annual awards are designed to encourage and recognize excellence in communications. Awards were given to those that showed ingenuity and creativity in telling their stories through outstanding copy, design, financial data presentation, graphics, social media engagement, video editing and web layout and interactivity.
“We have a story to tell and this team works hard to clearly and creatively tell that story,” Bret Carrol Chief Executive Officer said. “This recognition shines a light on their work and the value it brings to Conway Corp and to public power.”
Crystal Kemp Chief Marketing Officer accepted the awards during APPA’s Customer Connections Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona in October.
