Conway Corp recently promoted Chad Sayers to Telecom Installer Technician 2 following his successful completion of the Broadband Wireless Specialist (BWS) curriculum through the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE).
The certification demonstrates his commitment to professional development and was a key factor in earning his promotion.
The BWS program provides a comprehensive understanding of wireless networks in homes and small businesses. Through the curriculum, Chad completed four specialized courses:
- Residential Wireless Networks
- Wi-Fi Network Operations
- Wi-Fi Radio Frequency Operations
- Wi-Fi Installation and Security
He gained in-depth knowledge of wireless and Wi-Fi standards, network devices, planning and implementation, security, RF basics, antenna theory, installation and troubleshooting.
In his new role, Chad will oversee more advanced installation projects, assist in training new team members and continue delivering top-quality service to customers.
He has consistently shown strong technical skills, a great work ethic and a willingness to help his team. He has played a crucial role in numerous successful telecom installations and consistently goes above and beyond to support customers and coworkers.

Chad was hired at Conway Corp as an installer trainee in June 2023 and promoted to telecom installer 1 in August 2024.
