Help us congratulate Chad Sayers on recently earning the Broadband Premises Installer Certification from the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and being promoted to Telecom Installer 1!
The course provides a broadband technician with the fundamental knowledge needed to perform a business-class service installation, including high-speed data services, video services and telephony. Technicians learn the difference between residential and business service along with the fundamentals of business class wiring, data, voice and hospitality services.
To earn the certification, Sayers underwent several hours of study and application, as well as passing the examination. It is one of the top levels of achievement for installer technicians in the state.
“Chad has an outstanding attitude and work ethic,” Telecommunication Systems Manager Tommy Nolen said. “I truly appreciate his dedication to getting the job done and his exceptional care for our customers.”
Sayers was hired at Conway Corp as an installer trainee in June 2023.
