We’ve come a long way since we began operating Conway’s electric light plant in 1929, and we owe much of our success to our employees – the men and women who proudly serve this community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
This week, Conway Corp would like to recognize Ronnie Davis who is celebrating 30 years of service to the company and the community. Ronnie was hired August 20, 1987 as a Laborer in the Water Department and was promoted to Water Systems Foreman in June 1992.
In March 2005, he was promoted to his current position as Water Systems Senior Foreman. As a Senior Foreman, Ronnie oversees and coordinates the activities of utility workers who clean, repair and install water system pipes, manholes, hydrants and valves for the entire Conway water system.
In addition to Ronnie, five other employees are celebrating milestone anniversaries of 25 years of service or more with Conway Corp.
CATV Maintenance Superintendent Bob Fason is celebrating 28 years of service; Water Foreman Mike Brakebill is celebrating 28 years of service; CATV Senior Project Manager Tony VanPelt is celebrating 32 years of service; Cable Systems Manager Jody Smith is celebrating 35 years of service; and Electric Senior Foreman Henry Mason is celebrating 37 years of service.
