Congratulations to James Rains on his recent promotion to GIS Coordinator in the engineering department!
In his new position, James will oversee the daily activities of the geographic information systems group. With the addition of a supervisory role to his current list of duties, he will help direct the future development of GIS.
“James has been key to our success and continues to advance our system as new technologies emerge,” Conway Corp Operations System Coordinator Chris Boudreaux said. “He is well respected among his peers for his prompt attention to requests, promoting the use of GIS in the field and finding innovative solutions from the complex to the simple.”
James started his career part-time at Conway Corp in 1999 and became a full-time GIS technician in 2000. He was promoted to GIS senior technician in November 2019.
