Help us congratulate Dispatch Coordinator 2 Kyndel Smith in our engineering and planning department!
Kyndel recently completed the first of three modules of the Northwest Lineman College System Operator Certification course after finishing more than 150 hours of dedicated study and more than six exams.
His commitment and hard work have brought him one step closer to becoming a certified System Operator.
“Dedicating 150 hours of study time while having full-time responsibilities over a very dynamic group of system operators is quite an achievement,” Operations System Coordinator Chris Boudreaux said. “We are proud of his dedication and the extra effort put forth to complete this portion of the three-step program.”
Once the certification process is complete, he will be better equipped to adeptly manage local grid conditions and facilitate intricate interactions among grid-connected energy resources.
Kyndel began his career at Conway Corp as a dispatcher/customer care specialist in March 2016 and was promoted to his current position in 2022.
