Help us congratulate Wesley Fason on his promotion to Apprentice Lineman 3 in the electric department!
Wesley is enrolled in a four-year apprentice program to become a journeyman lineman through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance. The program requires classroom, correspondence and hands-on training with monthly and annual exams on electric curriculum. He must attend hands-on immersion skills training workshops including pole climbing, pole top rescue and bucket truck training at the National Utility Industry Training Fund facilities in Kansas City.
“Wesley is dependable, and you can always count on him to work,” Conway Corp Electric Distribution System Senior Foreman Scott Ussery said. “We’re proud of all his hard work and we look forward to adding him to our journeyman pool.”
He was hired as a groundman in March 2020.
