Help us congratulate David Ragland on his promotion to Apprentice Lineman 1 in the Electric Department!
David is participating in a four-year apprenticeship program through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance to become a journeyman lineman. The program includes classroom instruction, correspondence coursework and extensive hands-on training. Apprentices must also complete monthly and annual exams and attend immersive skills workshops, such as pole climbing, pole top rescue and bucket truck training at the National Utility Industry Training Fund facilities in Kansas City.
“David is a hard worker,” Electric Distribution System Senior Foreman Mark Rowlett said. “We look forward to watching him continue to grow in his career.”
David began his career with Conway Corp as a groundman in February 2022.
