Help us congratulate Conway Corp Water Systems Engineer 2 Stephen Hogan as he recently earned his Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator certification from the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment!
According to their website, this licensing is required “in order to safeguard the public health and protect the waters of this state from pollution, all operators in responsible charge of public or private wastewater treatment plants shall be duly licensed and certified as competent by the Division of Environmental Quality.”
This is another job requirement for his position in order to assist the wastewater plant personnel. Requirements for taking the exam are 120 hours of approved training or equivalent and at least three years of experience in wastewater treatment or a related field.
“Stephen is skilled and reliable,” Conway Corp Water Systems Senior Engineer Mark Ferguson said. “He has successfully passed a challenging exam, one of several he’ll take in the coming years to achieve certification and fulfill job requirements. This accomplishment puts him on track to becoming an even more valuable member of our water team.”
Stephen began his career with Conway Corp in November 2023.
