“He has a very strong work ethic, often being here early in the morning until well after everyone has gone home. All the projects he has can be overwhelming, but he remains calm and patient with the process. He really cares about Conway Corp and wants to see everyone succeed.”
Another nomination said:
“I appreciate Mark’s ability to consider the future for Conway’s water and wastewater systems,” Conway Corp Engineering & Planning Manager Dale Gottsponer said. “With the work his team is doing today, Conway Corp is in good hands with Mark’s leadership.”

Despite his commitment, Mark was surprised to win the award. He voiced his dedication to giving his best day in and day out.
“Just to be nominated for the Tower of Excellence award and recognized by my peers is a huge honor,” he said. “Winning it was very unexpected. I feel privileged to join the prestigious group of previous recipients and will strive to live up to its reputation.”
Mark joined the company as a part-time DAT installer in April 2012 before being promoted to a full-time water systems engineer in May 2013. He was then promoted to water systems engineer 2 in December 2017. He was promoted to his current role in December 2020.
